What are the opening hours?

Monday - Sunday 9:00 - 21:00
We are also open during national holidays.

I need Wi-Fi for my online classes. Do you have a proper Internet connection?

Our Facility is equipped with Wi-Fi, which is accessible for all our customers within all the studios.

Which payment methods do you support?

We support all major payment methods including PayPal, Sofort, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express).

Do you offer lessons or classes as well?

We do not officially offer lessons or classes as part of our services. However, many of our customers who visit our facility daily are professional musicians. If you are interested in taking private lessons, do not hesitate to ask other customers you meet at our facility whether they currently offer any lessons.

I play brass instruments. Can I use the rooms for practicing?

Unlike woodwind instruments, we cannot currently provide practice rooms for brass instruments such as trumpets, trombones, French horns or Tubas.

Hourly bookings

Can I reschedule my practice room reservation?

Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booking takes place.

Can I cancel my practice room reservation and get a refund?

All bookings are non-refundable. Bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booking takes place.

I cannot make it on time for my booking. Can I stay a bit longer to make up for the lost time?

Your designated end time is fixed. Please finish the session on time for other users who may be waiting. If you wish to continue with your practice session beyond your allocated time, you can book another hour through our booking site. Even when it seems to be available on the time table, it is often the case that Flatrate customers need to use the room.

I would like to bring another person for my practice. Which rooms are suitable?

If you are planning to bring another person (i.e. for lessons or ensemble), please book either Room S1, S2, S3 & H. A parent or friend is also considered an extra person.

Can I book the practice room for someone else?

It is not allowed to book the practice room for someone else if you are not planning to visit the practice room yourself. We recommend that the person in question creates a new user account here and makes the booking on their own account.

Monthly membership (Flatrate)

How does the Flatrate subscription work?

Flatrate customers may reserve a practice room up to 2 hours a day. All bookings can be made online. If you would like to practice for longer than 2 hours, it is possible to continue your practice session in one of the other available rooms. The availability of each room can be checked on the timetable at the front.

I need to practice for 6 hours a day, can this be guaranteed?

We cannot guarantee more than 2 hours if you are a flatrate customer. At least one of our rooms is usually free, however, if you would like more hours to be guaranteed, additional flatrates are recommended.

Door code instructions

When do I receive my door code?

A new door code is sent 1 hour prior to the start time of your booking to your email. Please check your spam folder first in case you didn’t receive the door code email. In the unlikely event that a door code isn’t sent to your inbox, please contact us.

Am I allowed to share my door code?

It is strictly forbidden to share your door code other than to the additional persons that you have added to your booking. Non-adherence to this rule will not be tolerated and will result in you being prohibited for making any future bookings.

I received a door code, what do I do now?

La Raison de la Musique is completely self-service meaning that in order to access the practice rooms, a door code has to be used. You can find instructions on how to operate the doors here.
